Trent John Alexander-Arnold (born 7 October 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right-back or midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team. Considered one of the best full-backs in the world, he is known for his range of passing, crossing, and playmaking ability. Alexander-Arnold joined Liverpool's academy in 2004 and captained the team to win the 2015–16 FA Youth Cup. He made his senior debut in October 2016, aged 18. In the 2018–19 season, he made the third-most assists in Europe's top five leagues, behind Eden Hazard and Messi. With Liverpool, he has won the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup. He became the youngest player to reach 10 assists in successive Premier League seasons at the age of 21.
