Alisson Ramses Becker (born 2 October 1992), known as Alisson Becker or simply Alisson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Liverpool and the Brazil national team. Widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, he is known for his positioning, distribution, and ability to stop one-on-one chances. Alisson began his career at Internacional, where he made over 100 appearances and won the Campeonato Gaúcho in each of his four seasons at the club. In 2016, he signed for Roma, and two years later joined Liverpool for an initial fee of £56.25 million, which was a world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper at the time. In his first season at Liverpool, he received the Premier League Golden Glove and was named The Best FIFA Goalkeeper. He has won the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, and FIFA Club World Cup with Liverpool.
