Kevin De Bruyne (born 28 June 1991) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City, which he captains, and the Belgium national team. De Bruyne is often regarded as one of the best players in the world and of his generation. He is known for his exceptional passing, shooting, and dribbling abilities. De Bruyne began his career at Genk, where he was awarded the Belgian Pro League Player of the Year for the 2010–11 season. In 2015, he joined Manchester City and has since won six Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, one FA Cup, five EFL Cups, and the UEFA Super Cup. De Bruyne has been named in the PFA Team of the Year six times and was named PFA Players' Player of the Year in both 2020 and 2023.
