Philip Walter Foden (born 28 May 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or winger for Premier League club Manchester City and the England national team. Considered one of the best players in the world, he is known for his agility, low centre of gravity, and technical skills. Foden's breakthrough season came in 2020–21, and he was named the Premier League Young Player of the Season. The following season, he made the most assists for Manchester City and was again named Premier League Young Player of the Season, becoming the first player to win the award twice. In 2023–24, he was named Premier League Player of the Season and PFA Players' Player of the Year. He has won six Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, two FA Cups, and the FIFA Club World Cup with Manchester City.
