Erling Braut Haaland (born 21 July 2000) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester City and the Norway national team. Considered one of the best players in the world, he is known for his speed, strength, positioning, and finishing inside the box. In his debut season with Manchester City, Haaland set the record for the most goals scored by a player in a single Premier League season, with 36, and also became the youngest player to score 30 goals in a single Premier League campaign. He is also the fastest and youngest player to reach 20, 30, 40 and 50 goals in the UEFA Champions League. In 2023, he won the treble with Manchester City, and was awarded the Premier League Golden Boot, the European Golden Shoe, and the Ballon d'Or.
